today in class I sent the url to my blogger to Mr.Mo, then i tried to customize my blogger but my picture was not uploading.

Purpose of a Website

            When making a website, there are many different components that you need to take in to prospective.  You need to have a purpose for making the website.  The business part of the website, for what reason are you making it, are you trying to sell an item?  The creativity of the website, catch the buy of others.  Also, marking of the website, you have to put your website out there.  Get people to know what it is.

            When you create a site, try to make it different from others.  Give the people something new to look at.  Make the user want to stay on your site with and interesting home page.  The reader should not be able to find your portfolio section within the first five second.   If he does then your site is to dull and simple.  This will also cause the reader to explore the website more and find new things that interest him.  Make your website easy to follow so that the reader is able to know where everything is on it.  Also, make it easy for people to search your website.  You can use “traffic source” and “keywords” to get your website to pop up when people search those words.  When you use a website for business it works very well because it is and easy way to learn about what the business is and what its all about.

           

When making a website it is very key that you know the keys to making a very good and successful website. Make sure you have a purpose, make sure the business part is clear and people know what they are looking at, and make sure its creative and catches the readers eye.
